Seth Rollins references his confrontation with The Bloodline while responding to Drew McIntyre
Seth Rollins has recently utilized social media to address Drew McIntyre’s comments. The ex-WWE Champion made jabs at his WrestleMania 40 rival after the latest episode of RAW.
At WrestleMania 40, Rollins and McIntyre will meet again as the former defends his World Heavyweight Championship against the latter. McIntyre earned his shot at The Visionary’s title by winning the 2024 Men’s Elimination Chamber Match in Perth, Australia, making him the number one contender.
During a recent Twitter/X exchange, McIntyre took a jab at Rollins’ promo abilities. In response, The Visionary brought up a recent segment with The Bloodline where the crowd chanted “Diarrhea”at The Rock.
The World Heavyweight Champion has previously bestowed the nickname “Diarrhea Dwayne”upon The Great One.
Have a look at Rollins’ tweet:
During the weekend of WrestleMania 40, Rollins will have a jam-packed schedule. He is set to compete on Night One alongside Cody Rhodes in a match against The Rock and Roman Reigns. The next evening, he will put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against McIntyre.
In the meantime, Rhodes and Reigns will have a rematch for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at this year’s WrestleMania 40, just like last year’s event.
Drew McIntyre refutes claims of Seth Rollins being the WWE locker room leader
Despite facing off twice for the World Heavyweight Champion, Drew McIntyre has been unable to dethrone Seth Rollins, who has successfully defended his title both times. It appears that McIntyre is determined to claim his third world championship in the company and has even gone as far as stating that Seth Rollins is not the leader of the WWE locker room.
Despite McIntyre clarifying that he does not harbor any hatred towards the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, he did not hold back in calling out Rollins for his “selfish attitude”during a recent episode of The Masked Man Show.
“I don’t hate Seth Rollins, he’s not CM Punk — I just don’t like the way he goes about things in his selfish attitude and he doesn’t see it, he thinks he’s a leader, but he’s absolutely not, he’s all about himself,”Drew McIntyre said. “A true leader is about the roster, is about democracy, and how can you lead the roster, lead the locker room if you’re never in it and you’re on your tour bus?”
CM Punk, who will be the guest commentator, will join McIntyre and Rollins in their upcoming match. During the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, all three wrestlers engaged in a heated promo exchange.
