OPPO Reno7 Series Debuts With Dazzling Design

While it’s true that OPPO has been releasing the Reno6 series smartphones in just six months, that doesn’t seem to stop the company from launching brand new Reno7 series smartphones in its home market today.

As expected, the OPPO Reno7 series smartphones have a completely new design language that is more different from all their predecessors, especially on the back of the phone. However, we continue to strive for the ultra-thin and sleek design that characterizes each of the Reno smartphones.

Without further ado, let’s see what the new OPPO Reno7 Pro 5G and Reno7 5G have in store for us!

OPPO Reno7 Pro 5G

Starting with the higher end model, we have the OPPO Reno7 Pro 5G with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with FHD + screen resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 99.94% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and maximum brightness. up to 920 nits.

For selfies and video calling, it also has a 32MP front-facing camera that sits inside a hole punch in the upper left corner of the screen. Also, let’s not forget that the phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner.

There is a redesigned camera island at the back that houses a total of three different cameras, including a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera for macro photography.

Under the hood, the OPPO Reno7 Pro 5G is powered by a dedicated MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Max chipset, which will be paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage in the storage department. As usual, the Reno7 Pro 5G lacks microSD card support for expanding storage.

The light always on is nothing more than a 4500mAh dual cell battery that supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 flash charging. In terms of software, we can expect the phone to run the company’s proprietary ColorOS 12 based on Android 11 out of the box.

For those wondering, the OPPO Reno7 Pro 5G is available in three colors including blue, black and gold. In terms of pricing, it will set you back 3699 Yuan ($ 579) and 3999 Yuan ($ 626), respectively, for the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB models.
