Earlier today, Motorola confirmed that the company will release the highly anticipated Edge X30 flagship on December 9 next week. This device is likely to be the first smartphone in the world to be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform.
Following this announcement, Xiaomi also quickly confirms that the company is preparing to launch the new flagship series Xiaomi 12, which, according to reports, could take place on December 12th.
Now OPPO has also jumped into the hype by revealing that the company’s next-generation flagship will launch in the first quarter of 2022. Although there was no mention in the name of the upcoming flagship series, these devices are likely to be sold under the Find X4 brand.
According to a recent report, the upcoming OPPO Find X4 Pro could arrive with a 6.7-inch OLED display that offers a 2K screen resolution with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate that is likely to be adaptive in nature.
In the imaging department, the OPPO Find X4 Pro is expected to have a triple camera setup on the back, which will be topped by a pair of 50MP cameras alongside a 12MP / 13MP telephoto lens that supports 2x optical zoom. This will be complemented by a 32MP selfie camera.
Under the hood, the phone is said to be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset, which is paired with ample RAM of 12GB in the storage department. Unlike the existing Find X3 series smartphones, the OPPO Find X4 Pro will also come with updated support for 80W fast charging.
