Overview

Microsoft has issued a total of 86 security updates for its products, which includes 9 classified as critical and 72 important. Additionally, 5 patches have been rolled out to address non-Microsoft vulnerabilities, including those related to Chromium.

Known Issues in Windows Clients

  • Windows 10: No known issues reported.
  • Windows 11: Version 24H2 is experiencing failures in PowerShell Direct (PSDirect) connections on hotpatched devices.
  • Windows Server: Identified issues in Windows Server 2008, 2022, and 2025.

1. Windows 10 Version 22H2

  • Update includes important security fixes and improvements.
  • Resolved an issue where non-admin users encountered UAC prompts during specific MSI installer actions affecting Office Professional Plus 2010 and Autodesk applications such as AutoCAD. A WinSock-related issue has also been addressed.

2. Windows 11 Version 22H2 / 23H2

  • This update also fixes an issue that affected non-admin users encountering UAC prompts during specific MSI installer actions, similar to Windows 10, while rectifying an issue tied to WinSock.

3. Windows 11 Version 24H2

  • Significant improvements include solving an input issue causing app unresponsiveness and fixing a bug related to disappearing IIS modules. Audio issues affecting apps due to a Network Device Interface (NDI) bug have also been rectified.
