“Semantics” — RHOC Fans React to Alexis’s Comments on Her Role in Jim’s Lawsuit Against Shannon and Tamra

“Semantics” — RHOC Fans React to Alexis’s Comments on Her Role in Jim’s Lawsuit Against Shannon and Tamra

In season 18 of The Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC), Shannon Beador unearthed details regarding Alexis Bellino’s role concerning the lawsuit her ex-husband initiated against her in 2018. During episode 14, Shannon revealed a text message from Alexis, dating back to 2018, to her co-star Gina Kirschenheiter.

The text indicated that Alexis and her then-husband, Jim Bellino, had “engaged an attorney,”expressing their intention to sue Shannon and Tamra for comments made about their divorce. Following this revelation, Alexis addressed the issue on social media, countering Shannon’s claims, vehemently denying being a “liar,”and emphasizing that a text message does not constitute a “legal document.”

Fans of RHOC voiced their opinions online, suggesting that Alexis seemed to be relying on technicalities to defend herself. One user on X remarked:

“No matter how you twist it, Alexis, the truth is you claimed to be uninvolved in the lawsuit, yet the texts clearly demonstrate otherwise… semantics!”

“It doesn’t seem like she was attempting to clarify anything. She clearly stated that ‘they hired an attorney and will be suing.’ Unsure what else there is to discuss,”another fan commented.

Numerous RHOC viewers expressed skepticism towards Alexis Bellino:

“Please, Alexis, just let it go! I’m begging you—how tough is it to admit defeat?”one person posted.

“Sorry Dumblexis, you’ve been caught twice with men seeking money from Shannon. Nothing you say holds weight, especially since Shannon triumphed against the Dumbllinos,”a fan noted.

“Alexis seems to think she can manipulate everyone lol. It always feels like a firm ‘we’ with Jim, just like it’s a firm ‘we’ with John now. It’s strange how she attempts to fight battles for a man she’s not even married to,”tweeted another user.

Further comments from RHOC fans included:

“She’s utterly delusional. Nothing she could say would change anyone’s perception. When she said ‘we’, it indicates both her and Jim. How can she not grasp that?! “one user wrote.

“Ultimately, it doesn’t even matter. Nothing will alter how she entered Heather’s party and continued throughout the season. She’s just unpleasant,”another fan remarked.

“I never supported Jim”— RHOC star Alexis Bellino clarifies on social media

Recently, RHOC star Alexis Bellino took to social media to address Shannon Beador’s allegations. In a segment from the Bravo series, Shannon shared a text message from Alexis dated June 27, 2018.

In her message, Alexis claimed that statements made by Shannon and Tamra Judge in the media post her divorce were “lies.”She mentioned that they had intentions of pursuing legal action against The Real Housewives of Orange County cast members for “slander and defamation.”

On October 18, 2024, Alexis posted on Instagram to share her perspective. She claimed that she is not a liar and recalled sending the text message, but asserted that it was not meant to be taken as a “legal document,”rather, it was to clarify the original accusation.

Alexis contended that the message was intended to “halt the ball from rolling,”not initiate any legal action. The RHOC star indicated that she sent the text at Jim’s behest, hoping to reason with Tamra and Shannon to “stop attacking”their family during a tumultuous time, during which her children were “broken.”

“I never endorsed Jim’s decision to sue them, and when he chose to proceed, I made it clear that I would neither support nor condone it,”Alexis stated.

The Bravo personality emphasized her disconnection from the lawsuit, urging fans to watch the RHOC season 18 reunion for “further evidence.”She also mentioned that Tamra Judge had extended an apology to her since the “2018 debacle.”
