Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have once again captivated fans of the Yakuza (or Like a Dragon) series with their latest revelations at the Tokyo Game Show. The beloved franchise, already rich with numerous mainline entries and spin-offs, is set to expand further with an exciting remake and a new narrative spin-off, both launched together as a single package.
Introducing Yakuza Kiwami 3
The spotlight falls on Yakuza Kiwami 3, which continues the tradition of revitalizing previous titles through the Kiwami remakes. This installment significantly enhances the experience with improved visuals, redefined combat mechanics, and enriched questlines. Originally released for PlayStation 3 in 2009, this improved edition will also be available on PC, Xbox, and other platforms starting in 2021.
Utilizing Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s advanced Dragon Engine
, Yakuza Kiwami 3 reintroduces players to the protagonist, Kazuma Kiryu, who navigates the bustling environments of Okinawa and Tokyo. This iteration features not only intense main quests but also whimsical side stories, including a unique orphanage management segment where Kiryu takes on the responsibility of caring for vulnerable children.

The Dark Ties Spin-Off
