The highly anticipated series Love is Blind Habibi made its debut on Netflix on October 10. The show showcases Arabian singles who venture into finding love without the constraints of physical attraction. While some participants found themselves engaged, others faced heartbreak. Among those who got engaged in the pods were Safa and Mohammed, who later took a vacation with their fellow engaged couples to explore their compatibility.
During their time together, Safa and Mohammed discussed significant topics, such as the introduction to their families and their living arrangements post-marriage. Safa shared that she was involved in a project in Iraq, requiring her to travel there on a weekly basis. In her confessional, Safa expressed her feelings regarding this situation:
“The more I get to know Mohammad, the more my feelings grow. However, I truly love my job right now, and it holds immense importance for me. I need to definitely find some kind of solution.”
Travel Dilemma for Safa from Love is Blind Habibi
After their engagement in the fourth episode, Safa and Mohammed reunited, eager to share their thoughts and feelings with one another. With light-hearted banter exchanged, Mohammed raised concerns about Safa’s job in Iraq and how it would affect their relationship. Specifically, he was worried about the implications of being apart and inquired about her travel itinerary.
Safa clarified her schedule, noting that she traveled every Sunday from Dubai to Basra and returned either on Wednesday or Thursday, a routine she anticipated would last for over three years.
“I leave every Sunday morning, and I return on Wednesday or Thursday. This cycle will just repeat for three years,”Safa explained to Mohammed.
Mohammed sought to know if there was a possibility for Safa’s travel circumstances to change. Safa indicated that it might if she could secure a different project with another company. She emphasized that they could navigate their situation as it developed.
Additionally, Safa proposed an alternative where she could divide her time between Dubai for one week and Iraq for the next. In response, Mohammed raised a valid concern:
“But won’t that be very tiring for you? When you eventually settle down, that seems like it would be too much. Living in two places… You understand, right? Don’t you want to feel settled somewhere?”
Safa revealed in her confessional that although she was fond of Mohammed, her current job was something she treasured deeply and that ultimately, finding a solution regarding their situation was crucial for her relationship with her fiancé from Love is Blind Habibi.
As their conversation concluded, Mohammed imparted these words to Safa:
“Distance can be really hard, and I really don’t want to be away from you. You understand my point, right? Choose what works best for you, I trust you. I’ve told you before that I won’t interfere with your career, and I truly want you to be happy.”
