The much-anticipated Love is Blind season 7 premiered on October 2 on Netflix, releasing its first six episodes. Fans have been eagerly awaiting this season’s debut, especially following the conclusion of the previous season along with its adaptations in Mexico and the UK earlier this year. Among the engaged couples in the latest season are Leo and Brittany.

Despite their engagement, they did not make the cut as one of the six couples selected by the producers for a honeymoon in Cabo, Mexico. During her time in the pods, Brittany openly expressed her desire to be a “trophy wife”in a Love is Blind confessional.

Brittany candidly shared this ambition with Leo, revealing her intention to refrain from working after marriage and her expectation for him to support her financially. When Leo expressed his reluctance to marry someone primarily interested in his wealth, Brittany countered by saying that if her goal was to marry for money, she would have done so long ago.

Initially, when Leo and Brittany began their conversations in the pods, Leo recounted how he inherited his family’s wealth after several family members succumbed to cancer. He mentioned that his businesses were thriving, prompting Brittany to inquire whether he believed in a 50/50 split for bills. Leo stated he wouldn’t mind shouldering more of the financial responsibility if he earned more.

Brittany expressed her satisfaction with his response, especially given that some other contestants in the pods were adamant about splitting expenses equally. However, when Brittany discovered Leo had developed a genuine connection with Hannah, she was visibly distressed. During a heartfelt conversation with Leo, she became emotional as she confided in him her past traumas of dating men with certain statuses who often had alternative romantic options.

This emotional turmoil resurfaced for Brittany when she witnessed Leo’s interactions with another woman. Even after several back-and-forth discussions between Hannah and Brittany, Leo ultimately decided to propose to Brittany.
