Produced by the creative minds behind Netflix’s acclaimed series Love, Death + Robots, Secret Level features animations crafted by Blur Studio. Each episode, with a duration of less than thirty minutes, transports viewers into a unique video game universe, showcasing major franchises like Armored Core, Warhammer 40K, PAC-MAN, and various PlayStation titles. The series benefits from a stellar voice cast, including industry staples like Keanu Reeves, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Laura Bailey. The season premiere was staggered into two releases, with the first half launching on December 10, followed by the second half just a week later.

Despite the recent release of the second half of the first season, Amazon has already announced the exciting news of Secret Level‘s second season. This announcement came through the series’ official Twitter account, signaling the production of new episodes that will delve into additional popular video games. Impressively, Secret Level has made history by achieving the largest debut for an animated series on Prime Video, a platform that also boasts hits like Invincible and The Legend of Vox Machina. This success further cements Prime Video’s growing reputation in the realm of video game adaptations, especially following the recent accolade of Fallout for Best Adaptation at the Game Awards.
