The pre-recorded Ghostface would utilize the caller’s name to deliver spine-chilling taunts before springing a jump scare, or alternatively challenge users to guess his hiding location before abruptly ending the call. The phone number (917)-540-7996 connected to the New York setting of the sequel. While the Ghostface website is now inactive, it simply states, “I’m done calling. But don’t worry, you can visit me in theaters, ”a message that could use an update considering the film’s release has now passed.
