The film initially made its debut at the 29th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) on October 7, where it drew over 4,000 enthusiastic fans for the premiere screening.
While BIGHIT MUSIC, now known as HYBE Labels, has not disclosed the specific date for the worldwide release, they confirmed that the documentary will be available in theaters globally in early December. This announcement was made through a YouTube short that provided a sneak peek into the BIFF premiere.
In response to the announcement, fans expressed their exhilaration across social media platforms, rapidly making the post viral. A fan mentioned on X:

Released by BIGHIT MUSIC on May 24, 2024, Right Place, Wrong Person is Namjoon’s second solo album, pre-recorded prior to his enlistment in the military in December 2023.
The album features a total of 11 tracks, including the pre-release single “Come Back to Me.”The music video, directed by Emmy-award-winning filmmaker Lee Sung-jin, included performances from Pachinko star Kim Min-ha and Beef’s Joseph Lee.
Additionally, the music video for the album’s title track, “LOST!,”was helmed by French director Aube Perrie, known for his work with The Hives, Harry Styles, and Fontaines D.C.
This Grammy-nominated musician’s documentary film captures his artistic journey and the quest for self-identity. It follows the creation of the 11 tracks that tackle themes like societal stereotypes, mental health, and more.
The documentary was filmed over eight months in cities including Seoul, Tokyo, and London while RM dedicated himself to crafting his second solo album.
