The highly anticipated Season 7 of The Circle premiered on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, and its finale is scheduled to air on October 2, 2024. This engaging social media game show focuses on deception and strategic gameplay, where contestants create profiles in a competitive quest to become the most popular player online.
Throughout the season, participants can opt to represent their true selves or adopt a completely different identity to catfish their rivals. With a grand prize of $100,000 on the line, some contestants resort to dishonesty while others aim to play the game with integrity and authenticity.
One of the notable contestants, Savannah Miller, chose to showcase her true self on the show. Unfortunately, she was eliminated in episode 4. In a candid interview with Collider, published on September 25, 2024, Savannah shared her thoughts on her elimination. While discussing her romantic connection with Kevin and his decision to block her, Savannah expressed:
“He needs a backbone.”
Despite Kevin’s reluctance to block his “Circle Wifey”Savannah, the Scarlotta twins, who were catfishing as Gianna, persuaded him to make the tough choice in the interest of the game. This decision left Savannah feeling a bit “salty.”
Savannah Draws Inspiration from Previous Seasons
Savannah revealed in her interview that she drew inspiration from last season’s Kyle Fuller. Striving for authenticity, she crafted her profile to reflect her identity as a “brain surgery queen.”Savannah expressed concern that if others saw a “pretty blonde”in modeling photos, they might mislabel her as a catfish.
“So that’s why I also went with a more tame profile picture of me and my PJs with my dog,”she shared.
Among her fellow contestants, Deb, who was catfishing as Rachel, empathized with Savannah’s story. Having experienced the loss of her son, Deb understood Savannah’s parents’ feelings as they supported their daughter through a challenging surgery.
Although Savannah’s time on the show was cut short, she regretted not having more opportunities to connect with Deb. “I didn’t have a lot of time to get that close. But I do think if I was in longer, and she did play herself, that I definitely would have bonded with her a little bit because watching her back now, I think she is so funny. Great mom energy,”Savannah noted.
Savannah placed her trust in Kevin, hoping he would advocate for her when he became an influencer alongside the Scarlotta twins, Nicky and JoJo. Sadly, her strategy backfired, and she was blindsided by the decision. Savannah admitted that Gianna, portrayed by the twins, was the most surprising profile to her, describing her as “some hot baddie girl.”
In episode 1, Savannah, alongside Andy, initially blocked Gianna from the game. However, their decision was later overturned due to the disrupter power. While Andy took responsibility for their choice and apologized to Gianna, Savannah chose not to do so, which displeased the twins and contributed to their desire to eliminate her.
Despite the blindsiding by her crush Kevin, Savannah did not harbor regrets about their connection. “I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, so I’m not necessarily upset that I did that…I do wish that I wouldn’t have been kicking my feet giggling because I don’t do that in real life. I’m more like bad b**ch energy,”she explained.
As a trusting person, Savannah had anticipated being invited to the VIP party by Kevin. However, she felt “a little salty”when he chose to invite Darian and Gianna instead. Her frustration intensified upon witnessing Kevin’s conversation with the twins regarding whom to block, which led her to believe he lacked a “backbone”in his decision-making.
Nonetheless, Savannah expressed a desire for Kevin to win, hoping her elimination would have some purpose. She also revealed that she continues to maintain a positive relationship with Kevin, and they communicate daily via Snapchat.
The Circle Season 7 is now available for streaming on Netflix.
