At Computex 2022, Samsung is introducing three new monitors – the new 25-inch and 27-inch G4 monitors, as well as the Odyssey Neo G7, a “stripped down” version of the Odyssey Neo G8 with a 165Hz refresh rate.
Both G4 monitors have the same specs, except one has a 25-inch screen and the other has a 27-inch one. Both use FullHD IPS panels with a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. With 400 nits of brightness and 8-bit color depth, the G4 can cover 99% of the sRGB gamut.
In addition to AMD Freesync Premium support and Nvidia G-Sync compatibility, these two Samsung monitors also come with other features. These include Adaptive Picture, Auto Source Switch+, Black Equalizer, Anti-Flicker Technology, Multiple Color Modes, Low Blue Light, Low Input Lag Mode, Refresh Rate Optimizer, Ultra Wide Gaming View, and Super Arena Gaming UX.
The included stand is versatile enough to tilt, swivel, swivel and adjust in height. Connectivity options available on these monitors include 2x HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Of the three, the Odyssey Neo G7 (S32BG75) is the highest-end variant, using a 32-inch curved (1000R) VA panel with 4K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. In addition, the 12-bit panel features Quantum Mini LED backlighting with 1,196 local dimming zones, delivering up to 1,000 nits of brightness, a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and 95% DCI-P3 coverage.
Certified for HDR10+ and HDR10+ gaming, the monitor is also Quantum HDR 200 rated and supports AMD Freesync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync compatibility. In addition, it features adaptive picture, auto source switching+, black equalizer, PiP, low input lag, Eco and Game modes, refresh rate optimizer, ultra-wide game view, and Super Arena Gaming UX gaming interface.
The monitor features Infinity Core Lighting with CoreSync to match the RGB color in your setup. Connectivity options include 2x HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, 2x USB-A 3.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The included stand allows you to swivel, tilt, swivel to both sides and adjust the height.
