Samsung has unveiled the Odyssey G75F, an impressive 37-inch monitor featuring a pronounced 1000R curvature that maximizes immersion for gamers. This model boasts VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification, ensuring exceptional visual quality.
Samsung Launches G75F in Malaysia for $1, 000: Exceptional 4K, Rapid 1ms Response Time, and High Refresh Rate Features for Gamers
The gaming landscape often favors ultrawide setups; however, Samsung makes a bold move with the G75F, a 16:9 monitor that captures attention with its expansive 37-inch display. As a fresh addition to the Odyssey G7 series, it offers a compelling set of features tailored for passionate gamers.

The G75F’s 1000R curvature envelops your peripheral vision, creating a more captivating gaming experience. With 4K resolution, it showcases vibrant details while maintaining fluid visuals, achieving refresh rates of up to 165Hz. Though it employs a Vertical Alignment (VA) panel that generally outperforms IPS displays in contrast, it lacks TCL CSOT’s advanced HVA technology, which features a remarkable 5000:1 contrast ratio.

That said, the monitor delivers a standard 3000:1 contrast ratio typical of VA panels, providing deeper blacks than IPS alternatives. Coupled with a rapid 1ms GtG response time, it ensures high responsiveness for competitive gaming. The sleek, all-black exterior features a minimalist design supported by a robust base for stability. Connectivity options include DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1, along with several USB output ports located at the back of the device.
Currently available on Samsung’s official website in Malaysia for RM 4, 399 (approximately USD 1, 028), the G75F is positioned as one of the pricier VA monitors on the market. Interestingly, this price point offers a less competitive option when premium OLED displays of similar size—some reaching up to 39 inches in an UltraWide format—can often be found at lower costs.

A closer examination of the monitor’s specifications reveals that some features may not justify its lofty price. While it supports FreeSync Premium Pro, there is a notable absence of G-Sync compatibility and a lack of USB Type-C with power delivery support. However, the ergonomic stand does offer various adjustments, including height, tilt, and swivel, enhancing the overall user experience.
