Samsung has unveiled its latest innovation, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, marking it as one of the most awaited devices in 2025. This new model showcases a significant redesign, boasting a larger display and a sleeker profile, albeit at a higher price point. Introducing the Thinner, Lighter, and More Powerful Galaxy Z Fold 7 – But Where’s the S Pen?
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 introduces substantial hardware advancements, redefining its physical characteristics. Turning to camera innovations, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is equipped with an impressive 200MP primary camera, complemented by a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 10MP telephoto lens. Both the inner and outer cameras share a 10MP selfie sensor, marking a shift from the previous in-display sensor to allow for higher resolution imagery, as the Fold 6 could only deliver a maximum of 4MP.
Powering this new model is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset available with RAM options of 12GB or 16GB. Storage capacities range from 256GB to a staggering 1TB. Despite the thinner build, Samsung has integrated a robust 4, 400 mAh battery capable of charging at 25W. Thanks to the energy-efficient Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, users can expect all-day performance, though we will await comprehensive tests to confirm battery longevity. Out of the box, the device will run on Android 16 with One UI 8, bringing a plethora of AI features designed to enhance productivity.
