Having already introduced the Galaxy S25 series earlier, the spotlight is now shifting to its next-generation foldable devices — the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7. Alongside these highly anticipated models, Samsung is also preparing to debut its latest flagship tablets: the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. Recent rumors indicate that these tablets may receive their most significant upgrades since 2022.

Potential Transformations for the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra

This year, Samsung appears to be reevaluating its tablet line-up strategy. Instead of the usual trio, the company might streamline its offering to just two models: the Galaxy Tab S11 and its premium counterpart, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. This strategic shift aims to eliminate the middle-tier model and focus on providing a more robust standard and premium offering.

Initially, it was suggested that both tablet models would utilize MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 chip, marking a departure from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors. However, new insights have surfaced, particularly from a report by GalaxyClub, hinting at substantial upgrades for the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. The report asserts that this model may feature a significantly larger battery capacity, estimated between 11, 700 and 12, 000 mAh. Given that Samsung has not frequently enhanced battery sizes in recent years, this upgrade will likely lead to extended usage time, especially for resource-intensive tasks.

While specific battery specifications remain under wraps, initial certifications suggest that the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra could boast a rated capacity of approximately 11, 374 mAh. In comparison, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra had a rated capacity of 10, 880 mAh, marking a noteworthy increase in power. This is the first instance of Samsung boosting battery capacity in its Ultra tablet series, which could significantly improve performance, particularly when paired with a more advanced chipset.
