While Samsung has not yet announced the Galaxy S26 lineup, speculation surrounding the Galaxy S27 series, which is set to release in early 2027, is already gaining momentum. The latest buzz centers on a groundbreaking face authentication feature for the S27 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra: New “Polarized-Light”Authentication Mechanism

According to the tipster, this innovative module appears to be integrated with the front ISOCELL Vizion sensor and a new secure processing protocol called BIO-Fusion Core.

The anticipated face authentication feature promises a rapid unlock time of approximately 180 milliseconds and demonstrates enhanced resistance to spoofing compared to the conventional face unlock currently utilized in Galaxy S-series devices, which primarily relies on basic 2D image analysis from the front-facing camera.

However, it’s important to note that recent leaks from this same source have sparked controversy, particularly involving another prominent tipster, Ice Universe. As we reported previously, SPYGO19726 also shared insights about the Exynos 2600’s camera functionalities and the selective use of these features in the Galaxy S26 series.

As for specific features, SPYGO19726 has suggested that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a 3x telephoto lens with an upgraded 12-megapixel resolution. This claim has faced substantial pushback from Ice Universe, who contests that the device will sport a smaller 10-megapixel 3x telephoto lens at a resolution of 1/3.94 inches, in contrast to the S25 Ultra’s 1/3.52-inch, 10-megapixel lens.
