Notably, this marks Samsung’s return to San Francisco for its dedicated event for the first time in approximately three years, the last occasion being the launch of the Galaxy S23 series back in 2023. Traditionally, Samsung schedules its S-series launches for late January or early February; hence, the late February date for this event is somewhat unusual.

Furthermore, Jukan mentions that there will be no S26 Edge variant introduced at this event, as Samsung plans to replace it with a ‘Plus’ version instead.
