As the technology landscape evolves, laptop manufacturers are gearing up to unveil their next-generation devices powered by Intel’s anticipated Core Ultra Series 3 “Panther Lake”CPUs. This new wave of laptops promises enhanced performance, state-of-the-art features, and improved energy efficiency. Among these manufacturers, Samsung is set to launch its new Galaxy Book6 lineup.
Details about the Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro have emerged via Geekbench, confirming the presence of Intel’s Core Ultra Series 3 “Panther Lake”CPUs. Presently, only one configuration has surfaced, showcasing the Intel Core Ultra 5 338H CPU. This configuration aims to deliver a balanced mix of computing power and graphical capabilities.

In terms of its specifications, the Intel Core Ultra 5 338H “Panther Lake”CPU boasts a base clock speed of 1.90 GHz, with a potential boost clock nearing 4.70 GHz. It integrates the Arc B370 iGPU, based on the Xe3 graphics architecture, featuring four Xe3 cores. The CPU configuration comprises four P-Cores, four E-Cores, and four LP-E cores, highlighting significant computational capabilities. This leak supports the wider expectation that both the Galaxy Book6 Pro and its sibling Galaxy Book6 models will utilize Intel’s Core Ultra Series 3 “Panther Lake”CPUs. While new AI benchmarks have appeared, they were conducted using the ONNX framework on the CPU, thus providing limited insights. More meaningful generational comparisons could be made if testing were focused on the iGPU or NPU components.
With the release of the Intel Panther Lake CPUs, laptops designed for mobility are expected to deliver commendable performance. However, it’s essential to approach these benchmarks with a degree of skepticism.
