Samsung Aims for Increased Production of Galaxy S25 Series in 2024, Yet 2025 Annual Shipments Projected to Drop by 8 Million Units

Samsung is set to launch its much-anticipated Galaxy S25 series at the beginning of 2025, aiming to secure a competitive edge in the smartphone market. According to Jukanlosreve, Samsung’s estimated shipments for the Galaxy S24 family were pegged at 35 million units this year. The Galaxy S25, however, is projected to surpass this figure thanks primarily to its exclusive reliance on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, foregoing the Exynos 2500 variants altogether. Despite the modest uptick in shipment expectations, overall production targets have been adjusted downwards, as indicated by reports from The Elec.
