Sami Zayn teases major announcement ahead of WWE WrestleMania 40

WWE RAW wrestler Sami Zayn has utilized social media to hint at a significant revelation prior to this weekend’s WrestleMania event. Zayn, who was previously a member of the Bloodline, is set to compete against Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at The Show of Shows.

Despite winning a Gauntlet match last month and earning a title shot against The Ring General, Sami Zayn has faced setbacks in recent weeks on the red brand against Gunther. In their latest encounter on Monday night, Gunther was able to defeat and beat down Zayn. Despite this, Zayn has not given up and is now training with Chad Gable, a member of the Alpha Academy, in preparation for his upcoming battle against the Austrian star. Additionally, Gable has also become the number one contender after defeating the veteran, adding more pressure to Zayn’s training.

The professional wrestler from RAW posted a cryptic message on his official X account today, revealing that he has an exciting announcement coming soon.

“About to make an exciting announcement,”he wrote.

During a recent interview, Sami Zayn discussed his upcoming match against Gunther and expressed his gratitude for once again having a prominent spot at WWE WrestleMania.

He emphasized that, aside from his matches with Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and The Rock, it is the largest match he has participated in.

“If you watch WWE, you can see how fast things move. I’m just, I feel very lucky to be in the position a year later, challenging the longest-reigning, most dominant Intercontinental Champion of all time. If you’re not in that top, top match with Cody, and Roman, and The Rock or whatever, I’d say this is the biggest match outside of that you could want to be in. According to Booker T, Sami Zayn expressed disappointment with the fan response following his victory in the Gauntlet match on WWE RAW last month. It remains to be seen if the 39-year-old will garner fan support during his Intercontinental Championship match at WrestleMania.
