As of now, Sakamoto Days has aired two episodes and boasts an IMDb rating of 8 and a score of 7.99 on MyAnimeList. While the ratings may not stand out compared to other trending anime, the enthusiasm among fans is palpable.
Enthusiasts will be thrilled to learn that the second season is slated for release in July 2025. The first season will run for only 11 episodes, concluding in the coming weeks. Sakamoto Days’ Manga Receives Reprint

Moreover, Shuesiha has already initiated a reprint of all manga volumes, anticipating a surge in sales as the anime progresses. The announcement of the anime adaptation was made in May 2024, with the first episode premiering on January 11, 2025.
