Roman Reigns’ real-life cousin hints at potentially joining WWE during WrestleMania 40 week
It has been announced that Roman Reigns will put his position as the top WWE wrestler on the line at WrestleMania 40. Should he be unable to retain his spot, it appears that his relative, Lance Anoa’i, will take the opportunity to join the promotion.
The Tribal Chief is facing a monumental challenge. He is scheduled to compete on both nights 1 and 2 at WrestleMania, where he will once again face off against his old foes, Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes. However, this time he has a powerful team behind him, including The Rock and the rest of The Bloodline, guaranteeing his triumph on both nights.
Prior to the Showcase of the Immortals, Lance Anoa’i posted a mysterious tweet, suggesting that he may be the one to continue his legacy. As Roman Reigns’ cousin, he subtly implied his interest in potentially joining NXT by strategically capitalizing the letters in the word ‘next.’
“Could I be the NeXT ☝🏽?”he wrote.
Former WWE Champion Reveals Intense Rivalry with Roman Reigns
Despite facing several legends inside the ring and prioritizing business over personal feelings, Reigns’ relationship with CM Punk has been revealed to be one of animosity. This was disclosed by Punk himself during an interview on The MMA Hour.
During the Shield era, Punk and Reigns had multiple encounters in the ring, showcasing their shared history as two prominent superstars.
“We hate each other [on his relationship with Roman Reigns]. Everybody hates me. It’s all business, baby. I’m not here to make friends. If I have some friends from my prior ten years in the company, awesome. You know, if I make some friends along the way, that’s just sprinkles on top of a cupcake. I’m here to do business and make money.”
Reigns’ current priority is to defend his championship against Cody Rhodes, although it is uncertain if Punk will ever challenge him.
