Exciting Gameplay Changes
The upcoming season brings noteworthy changes, particularly with the introduction of new mutators available for Exhibition Mode and Private Matches. Here’s a comprehensive list of the mutators you can experiment with:
- Jumps: Choose from double jump to octuple jump, or even disable jumps.
- Number of Balls: Select from 1, 2, 4, or 6 balls in play.
- Ball Gravity: Adjust the gravity settings to low, high, super, or default.
- Dodge Timer: Modify the dodge timer as per your strategy.
- Possession Score: Earn points for maintaining ball possession.
- Normal Goal Score: Increase points awarded for each standard goal.
- Aerial Goal Score: Get additional points for goals scored while airborne.
- Assist Score: Gain up to three points for every assist provided.
- Enforce Territories: This feature implements the Split Shot Wall, limiting player movements across halves of the field with a demolition penalty for crossing boundaries.
Enhanced Audio Feedback and Reporting
To improve the overall gameplay experience, a new feature will introduce a ping sound when the ball strikes the crossbar or goal posts. This auditory cue helps players avoid premature celebrations and maintain their focus during intense moments.
Moreover, to enhance the integrity of the game community, a significant update to player reporting will now include the option for voice reporting. In addition to blocking, muting, and reporting players, users can now submit audio evidence to report any suspected violations of the Community Rules.
These developments reflect the dedication of the Rocket League team to foster a safe and enjoyable environment for all players.
