
On Thursday, September 27, the highly anticipated episode 2 of Road to Kingdom: Ace of Ace premiered, showcasing an exciting array of performances and revealing significant winners. The first episode featured both an individual and a team competition, while the second episode focused on the seven competing K-pop boy groups presenting their initial performances.
In this episode, the seven boy groups were tasked with covering songs from the discography of their senior K-pop counterparts. The groups were organized into three teams according to the songs they planned to perform. THE NEW SIX and Tempest were part of the Stray Kids group and faced off in their battle.
During this round, THE NEW SIX delivered a captivating performance of Phobia, while Tempest took on Maniac. Meanwhile, 8TURN and YOUNITE represented the ENHYPEN group, with 8TURN performing Future Perfect and YOUNITE performing Bite Me against each other. The remaining three groups—The CrewOne, ONEUS, and CRAVITY—associated with the NCT, THE BOYZ, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER respectively—engaged in a triple performance.
In this thrilling segment, The CrewOne performed Watch It by THE BOYZ, ONEUS took to the stage with Kick It by NCT, and CRAVITY showcased their rendition of SUGAR RUSH RIDE by TOMORROW X TOGETHER. Each group selected their opponents based on the evaluation battle results from the first episode.

Road to Kingdom: Ace of Ace is a reality survival show produced by Mnet, previously serving as a precursor to the show Kingdom, and has recently evolved into an independent series. This season features seven talented K-pop boy groups.
The participating groups include 8TURN, CRAVITY, ONEUS, Tempest, The CrewOne (comprising ATBO and Just B), THE NEW SIX, and YOUNITE. The show is hosted by second-generation K-pop idol, SHINee‘s Taemin. In the second episode of Road to Kingdom: Ace of Ace, the rankings from the first evaluation battle were unveiled.
During the first episode, standout K-pop idols from each group vied for supremacy, leading to the team battle among the top six ranks. Notably, CRAVITY did not participate in this team competition. Below are the rankings from both battles:

As for this week’s episode of Road to Kingdom, the victors from the two performance rounds—the Stray Kids and ENHYPEN groups—were announced. THE NEW SIX triumphed over Tempest with their rendition of Phobia, and YOUNITE also secured victory for their performance of ENHYPEN’s Bite Me against 8TURN.
The results for the triple performance are yet to be disclosed. The CrewOne is set to present their performance of Watch It by THE BOYZ in the next episode of Road to Kingdom. Following this, the winners from the third group and the final rankings for the initial performance round will be revealed.
