“Respect Diddy’s Children” – Aoki Lee Simmons Urges Understanding Amidst Controversy

On October 15, 2024, Aoki Lee Simmons, daughter of Russell Simmons, addressed her followers on Instagram Live, advocating for the children of rapper Diddy. Diddy, a father of seven with four different partners, has recently been embroiled in legal troubles related to serious allegations of sex trafficking.

During her live session, Aoki expressed her admiration for Diddy’s children, urging the community to extend kindness and respect towards them, emphasizing, “because they’re nice kids.”She added:

“It’s not their fault that anything — adults, that’s adult business, and they’re not adults.”

Aoki further highlighted the importance of not attributing blame to children for their parents’ conduct, referring to Diddy’s children as her “little cousins,”and reminding everyone that they are still in school and should be regarded as children.

Diddy’s Children Show Support at Recent Court Hearing

Diddy was taken into custody on September 16, 2024, at a New York hotel, following which a grand jury formally accused him of sex trafficking, racketeering, and other related crimes.

On October 10, 2024, he made his first court appearance at the Manhattan federal courthouse.

Present to support him was Diddy’s mother, Janice Combs, along with his six children: Quincy Brown (33), Justin Combs (30), Christian Combs (26), Chance Combs (18), and twins Jessie and D’Lila Combs (17), all of whom attended the hearing with their grandmother.

Diddy adopted Quincy when he was romantically involved with Kim Porter, who is the biological mother of Christian and the twins D’Lila and Jessie, who sadly passed away in November 2018. Justin is Diddy’s son with stylist Misa Hylton, while Chance is his daughter with businesswoman Sarah Chapman. In 2022, Diddy announced the birth of his youngest daughter, Love Sean Combs, with Dana Tran.

Additionally, on October 16, 2024, Diddy celebrated his youngest daughter’s birthday on Instagram.

Daughters of Diddy and Kim Porter Address Ongoing Speculation

In September 2024, Chris Todd published a 59-page book titled *Kim’s Lost Words*, which purported to be a memoir of the late Kim Porter. This book contained allegations of an abusive relationship between Diddy and Kim, along with conspiracy theories surrounding her death.

On September 24, 2024, Diddy’s children, D’Lila, Jessie Combs, and Quincy Brown, released a statement in response to the circulating rumors regarding their parents, as reported by Billboard. They stated:

“We have seen so many hurtful and false rumors circulating about our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs’ relationship, as well as about our mom’s tragic passing, that we feel the need to speak out.”

Diddy has entered a not guilty plea to all charges against him and is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His next court date for trial is scheduled for May 5, 2024.

According to BBC reports, if convicted, Diddy faces a potential life sentence on racketeering charges, and he could receive a minimum of 15 years for the sex trafficking allegations.
