In Pokemon Legends: Z-A, Hyperspace Wild Zones serve as the primary means for players to capture Mega Dimension DLC Pokémon. However, each zone is limited to showcasing only three Pokémon at a time, which can be quite frustrating when you’re on the hunt for a particular creature to enhance your team.
Luckily, there is a method for players to refresh all currently active Hyperspace Wild Zones throughout Lumiose City. Unlike the fixed Wild Zones found in the base game, Hyperspace Wild Zones are dynamic and can disappear after some time. This guide provides an effective strategy for resetting Pokémon availability in these zones, streamlining the Pokémon hunting process. Let’s dive into the details.
How to Refresh Hyperspace Wild Zones in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

To reroll the Hyperspace Wild Zones, players should rest at a bench, a mechanic featured in the Mega Dimension DLC. Shifting the time of day from day to night or vice versa causes all active Hyperspace Wild Zones to refresh, resulting in new Pokémon encounters strewn across Lumiose City.
It is important to note that Hyperspace zones connected to Side and Main Missions remain static and do not change with the day-night cycle.
Each Hyperspace Wild Zone is associated with a specific Pokémon type, which determines the Pokémon that can emerge within it. With the transition of day to night, these typings also undergo a reroll. This technique can unlock access to exclusive Mega Dimension DLC Pokémon such as Charcadet, Scovillain, and Sirfetch’d.

For instance, if you are aiming to capture a Mankey to evolve it into Annihilape, utilize the bench to “Kill some time here” multiple times. After each rest, access the map and press the minus (-) button on your Joy-Con to display only the Hyperspace Wild Zones. Check diligently to see if a Fighting-type Zone housing a Mankey appears. If it does not, continue to wait at the bench until it does.
The star rank of each Hyperspace Wild Zone determines the tier of Pokémon that can appear there. For example, a Pokémon such as Zangoose, which can only be found in 2-Star Hyperspaces, will never spawn in a 1-Star zone, regardless of how many rerolls occur.
