Overview of Outer Banks Season 4

It’s been eighteen months since we left the Pogues in the Season 3 finale, where they unearthed gold in El Dorado. Although still processing the losses of Ward (Charles Esten) and Big John (Charles Halford), there was much for them to celebrate.

Fast forward to the present, and the Pogues find themselves facing hardships once more, which leads them to accept Wes Genrette’s (David Jensen) offer to hunt for Blackbeard’s treasure. This season backtracks to showcase their life after discovering the El Dorado treasure and their struggles to adapt to a more conventional existence.

They have created a new refuge known as “Poguelandia 2.0,”where they coexist and manage a successful bait and tackle shop. However, financial challenges prompt John B, Sarah, Kiara, JJ, Pope, and Cleo to dive back into the treasure hunt, putting them at risk against formidable new adversaries vying for the same prize.

What to expect in Part 2?

The upcoming second half of Outer Banks Season 4 will unravel the circumstances surrounding Larissa and Charles’ decision to relinquish JJ, alongside the revelation of whether Charles and Wes were aware of JJ’s true identity all along.

In a cliffhanger from Part 1, Pope and Sarah find themselves trapped underground in a catacomb with rising water levels threatening their escape. Will they be able to find a way out?

The treasure hunt isn’t over yet, so mark your calendars for the release of Outer Banks Season 4 Part 2 on November 7, 2024.
