Capcom has revealed that the much-anticipated first free title update for Monster Hunter Wilds will be available on April 4, 2025. This update promises to enhance the gaming experience with new monsters, weapons, and engaging features.

Players will have the thrilling opportunity to hunt the elusive Mizutsune, but this will only be accessible after reaching Hunter Rank 21 and speaking with Kanya, located at the Scarlet Forest base camp.
Moreover, those who achieve a minimum of Hunter Rank 50 will once again be able to pursue Zoh Shia and craft its powerful weapons. Adding to the excitement, a new challenge will arise with the introduction of the Arch-Tempered Rey Dau, slated for release at the end of April 2025. This marks a notable moment for players as they prepare for the first Seasonal Event, kicking off on April 22, 2025.

The developers have also hinted at a subsequent title update scheduled for Summer 2025, which features a teaser regarding the return of the fan-favorite creature, Lagiacrus, from the classic Monster Hunter Tri/3u series. This anticipation is sure to reignite excitement among long-time fans.
