Conflict Between Stacey and Ashley in Episode 3 of The Real Housewives of Potomac
A preview released by Bravo on October 15, 2024, reveals friction during Gizelle’s charity event aimed at supporting the National Brain Tumor Society, a cause close to her heart after losing her father to brain cancer. However, Ashley rubbed some attendees, including newcomer Stacey Rusch, the wrong way during the proceedings.
Stacey, Mia Thornton, and Jassi Rideaux arrived about four minutes late, prompting Gizelle to express her displeasure by directing security to escort them out. The ousted ladies then retreated to their van, where they shared their grievances with one another.
The tension escalated further when a friend of Gizelle’s suggested that the dismissed ladies should still contribute to the cause. Ashley offered to donate, but her overture was not well-received, leading the others to close the van door on her. Subsequently, Stacey invited Jassi, Karen, and Ashley to her home for a gathering, where the earlier incident was discussed.
In another sneak peek from Bravo, Stacey introduced herself to the established members while they tried to learn more about her. She shared that she has been married for 16 years and has an 8-year-old daughter.
As the conversation deepened, Stacey revealed her heartache over drifting apart from her husband, eventually disclosing that she is currently navigating a divorce. This news surprised everyone, and Gizelle speculated that Stacey seemed downcast while discussing the situation.
The atmosphere shifted as the women learned about a new man in Stacey’s life, igniting further discussions about her romantic situation. Stacey was taken aback by how much Ashley divulged, raising concerns about trust and the personal information about her marriage being shared.
“She came over here over charcuterie and drinks and spilled all my business,”Stacey remarked.
Initially caught off guard by Stacey’s response, Ashley defended her actions, claiming she didn’t believe that informing Gizelle about Stacey’s new relationship was inappropriate.
