Recap of The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9, Episode 3
The episode opens with Gizelle throwing Jassi, Mia, and Stacey out of her charity event, which was held in memory of her late father who died from cancer. Despite the ladies’ explanation that they were merely four minutes late, Gizelle refused to accept it.
“My father passed away months ago. Karen getting an award; who cares? This is the same woman who just hit a tree… Don’t mess with me. Not tonight,” Gizelle expressed.
Ashley faced backlash when she attempted to secure donations from the ladies who had just been ejected. Jassi, in particular, took issue with Ashley’s approach and forcefully shut the van door while Ashley was standing on it.
The following morning, Stacey hosted a gathering with Jassi, Karen, and Ashley to discuss the previous night’s drama and uncover what had upset Gizelle so deeply.
During the meetup, Ashley pushed Karen about her invitation to her own event, which coincided with Gizelle’s charity gathering, making the ladies late. Karen diverted the conversation by discussing Ashley’s previous birthday party and the Uber vouchers that had been mentioned.
The group eventually agreed to move on and concluded that Gizelle needed to apologize.
Meanwhile, as Wendy’s mother came over to cook for her, Wendy shared news about an upcoming cast trip to North Carolina, coinciding with her 40th birthday. Despite recent tensions, she invited her in-laws to the celebration.
Keiarna, visited by her mother who inquired about a potential proposal from her boyfriend, asserted that she was not the type to chase after a ring.
In Gizelle’s home, as her twins prepared for prom, she reflected on the impending empty nest syndrome and ultimately chose to extend an apology to the women she had previously ejected.
Later, Mia and Inc arranged a birthday celebration for Jacqueline’s ex-partner, Patrick. Jacqueline, in a confessional, revealed that Mia and Inc had broken up, speculating on whether Inc had asked her out to dinner.
Ashley’s new relationship with TJ also showed signs of strain, as he stated he was not interested in being intimate with her.
As the episode wrapped up, the ladies gathered together for their trip. Gizelle apologized to the group, while Stacey confronted Ashley about disclosing details of her personal relationship with the others.
Upon arriving in Queen City, Mia reached out to Karen to check on her following the DUI incident.
