Highlights from The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9 Episode 2
In this episode, Gizelle and Wendy come together to confront their ongoing issues. Gizelle calls out Wendy for her use of a “demeaning”tone while communicating with others, asserting that this approach creates barriers to friendship. She also admits she feels uncomfortable whenever Wendy adopts a “condescending”manner during their disagreements.
In response, Wendy urges Gizelle not to dictate or “police”how others react to various circumstances. She stresses that her intention is not to control anyone but to express how she’s affected by Gizelle’s responses, revealing her feelings of occasional “alienation”due to Gizelle’s actions.
“While I understand your point, it’s not right to dictate how I should react, especially when someone confronts you. To be fair, I feel you sometimes make me feel isolated,”Wendy articulated.
Gizelle reassured Wendy that she harbors no ill feelings, but when conflicts arise, she often needs space to regain her composure. Wendy encouraged Gizelle to communicate openly about any issues as they come up, rather than withdrawing.
“If I’m upset with you, I’d rather discuss it openly—hopefully, that won’t happen, but if it does, you’ll know exactly what it is,”Gizelle responded.
During her confessional, Gizelle reflected on the conversation, expressing surprise at its positive turn and hinting that they could develop a closer friendship in the future. She remarked:
“This has been our most constructive chat yet. I thought we were worlds apart, but with a little effort, we might just grow to be best friends.”
Yet, when asked about her willingness to become close friends with Gizelle, Wendy remained noncommittal.
