Formerly recognized as 4A Games, the team will now operate under the name Reburn. This change accompanies the announcement of their upcoming title, which signals a significant shift toward a sci-fi setting.
Introducing The Chimera
Reburn’s new project, titled La Quimera, promises to retain familiar elements of story-driven gameplay while venturing into an expansive and visually stunning universe. As detailed by the developers, the game unfolds within a vibrant Latin American megacity and its lush jungles.
“Players will assume the role of a custom-built exosuit-wearing PMC soldier who navigates a landscape filled with competing factions, ”the studio explains, heralding a captivating adventure for gamers.
Multiplayer Features
La Quimera is set to enhance the gaming experience by offering a cooperative multiplayer mode. Players will be able to team up in groups of three, making the gameplay not just a solitary journey, but a collaborative mission. Reburn emphasizes that this installment will maintain the series’ signature tense combat and deep storytelling, combined with innovative environments, rich character development, and an array of unique weaponry.

Dmytro Lymar, founder and CEO of Reburn, expressed excitement about this new venture, stating, “We take pride in unveiling La Quimera, especially drawing from our experience with narrative-driven shooters such as the ones in the Metro franchise. The development team comprises over 110 talented individuals, many of whom have a background in the Metro series as well as the iconic S. T.A. L.K. E.R.games. Oleksandr Kostiuk is leading the project, ensuring that La Quimera is crafted with the depth and quality fans expect.
Availability and Future Updates
Currently, La Quimera has been announced exclusively for PC, with a wish list page available on Steam. However, no specific release date has been disclosed yet, leaving fans eager for further updates.
