The airing of Big Brother 26 episode 34 has been postponed as CBS has opted to debut its new reality show, The Summit, in that time slot. Fans of Big Brother can catch the latest episode showcasing the remaining houseguests on Sunday, September 30 at 10:30 pm ET. Julie Chen Moonves continues her role as the host for Big Brother season 26, where contestants are monitored by cameras around the clock.
This is not an uncommon occurrence, as CBS frequently reschedules Big Brother episodes to accommodate live broadcasts, sports events, and other special programming. As a result, the originally scheduled episode at 9:00 pm ET shifted to 10:30 pm ET, 10:00 pm PT, and 9:30 pm CT on CBS and will be available on Paramount+ the following day.
The five houseguests currently vying for the grand prize of $750,000 are Cam Sullivan-Brown, Chelsie Baham, Kimo Apaka, Makensy Manbeck, and Rubina Bernabe.
What are the latest updates from week 11 of the Big Brother 26 live feeds?
During week 11 of the Big Brother 26 live feeds, much discussion centered around alliances, particularly between Chelsie and Makensy as they deliberated on their fellow houseguests’ positions. With nominations for Head of Household (HoH) pending, Chelsie advised Makensy that Cam should consider a resume builder since he has yet to win any HoH or Power of Veto competitions throughout the season.
Chelsie went on to express that if Cam made it to the final two, jurors would likely favor him due to his lack of “blood on his hands.”She mentioned that she has kept Cam safe thus far due to their friendship and that if he were nominated, his chances of survival would be slim. Ultimately, Chelsie and Makensy decided to vote out Kimo and Rubina, with Kimo emerging as the primary target.
Following this, Chelsie spoke with Cam and suggested they consider evicting Makensy if one of them secured the HoH title. Makensy subsequently won HoH and chose to nominate Rubina and Kimo. In a conversation with Makensy, Rubina revealed that Chelsie had previously encouraged her to vote out Makensy before the double eviction.
On Saturday’s Big Brother live feeds, Chelsie and Makensy continued to weigh the possibility of nominating Cam, considering that Rubina might also want to keep him in the game since it would benefit her. Chelsie expressed fatigue over having to support Cam throughout the competition.
Meanwhile, Rubina and Kimo conversed in the kitchen, with Rubina expressing her desire to seek therapy after the show due to some houseguests making her feel inadequate. The two also discussed Cam’s lackluster performance in competitions, suggesting he should be the one facing eviction.
Before heading to bed, Cam had a talk with Chelsie in storage, where she disclosed Makensy’s intention to re-nominate him due to his poor performance. Cam dismissed any concern, arguing that nominating him would be a misguided move.
Chelsie then assured Cam that she would speak with Makensy to advocate for his safety. In response, Cam questioned why Makensy was not upset with Chelsie since she, too, had lost in the competition, to which Chelsie explained that her closer finish allowed her to feel secure.
What is CBS’ The Summit about?
On September 29, 2024, CBS launched its latest reality show, The Summit, where 16 contestants compete for a chance to win a share of the $1 million prize in the stunning New Zealand Alps. This show tests both the mountaineering and survival skills of the participants, some of whom have no prior climbing experience.
According to the show’s press release, the contestants must collaborate for 14 days to navigate the “hazardous terrain, brutal Antarctic winds, thrilling challenges, and heartbreaking eliminations”in order to remain in the competition and reach the summit.
In a unique twist, the cast members will be overseen by the Mountain’s Keeper, who won’t assist them, but will implement severe twists and force them to make difficult decisions throughout their journey. Another intriguing aspect is that if the group cannot reach The Summit within the allotted time, no one will take home any of the prize money.
