Ray J Goes Live with Nicki Minaj: Details on Argument Outside the Club and Diddy’s Sons

At a Halloween celebration hosted by popular influencer Tara Electra on October 26, 2024, a clash occurred involving Ray J and Diddy’s sons Quincy, Justin, and Christian. Tensions escalated, prompting Chris Brown to step in and separate the two parties.

The confrontation was reportedly triggered by Diddy’s sons questioning Ray J about his remarks directed at Diddy following the latter’s September 16 arrest on allegations related to s*x trafficking, racketeering, and facilitating prostitution.

Eyewitnesses claimed the situation intensified to the point of chest-bumping, although no official statements have been released from either side. However, Ray J has now shared insights regarding the incident at the party.

During an Instagram Live on October 30, 2024, alongside Nicki Minaj, the rapper addressed queries concerning the altercation. He clarified, stating he “didn’t engage in a fight” with Diddy’s sons and remarked:

“We had a heated argument just outside the nightclub. I got a bit loud and aggressive, but this was the third instance, and I felt the need to assert myself.”

Ray elaborated further:

“While I did say some strong words and we exchanged some heated dialogue, my intention was to walk away from the situation. It’s unfortunate that it reached that point. What’s uplifting is that we managed to connect over the phone afterward and discussed things for around 35 minutes.”

As previously highlighted, the confrontation with Diddy’s sons occurred at a Halloween party in Los Angeles. Although Ray maintained in his chat with Nicki Minaj that no physical fight took place, he also opened up about the incident in a discussion with Wack100 on an X Spaces session on October 29, 2024.

He expressed relief that Chris Brown was present to de-escalate the situation and mentioned his attempts to reason with Diddy’s sons. When asked about the crowd that approached him, Ray indicated that approximately eight individuals were involved. He added:

“I was trying to bring some clarity to the events that unfolded.”

During their dialogue, Wack100 issued a cautionary statement to Diddy’s sons, saying:

“It’s on. If we cross paths, just remember what it’s like back in 1995.”

In the midst of this, Diddy is facing serious legal challenges, with several individuals reportedly filing lawsuits against him for alleged s*xual misconduct. The claims suggest that he used his industry connections to facilitate these alleged crimes.

The legal saga escalated following a grand jury indictment that surfaced a day after Diddy’s arrest, revealing more details about police searches conducted at his residence in March. As reported by Page Six on September 17, authorities discovered numerous lubricant bottles and firearms during the investigation.

Diddy has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn and is set to face trial on May 5, 2025.
