Engaging with Delta Force‘s Warfare mode can be a formidable experience, yet the Operations mode elevates the challenge significantly. Players often find themselves poised for action, bracing for the possibility of enemy flanks, only to discover the adversaries are computer-controlled bots.
The Extraction mode adds an intriguing layer to gameplay, especially as you familiarize yourself with its mechanics. Players are treated to an endless variety of weapons, gear, and tactics to explore with different operators. Coupled with distinctive maps, players can expect a battlefield that presents high stakes and rewards.
Let’s delve into various maps to determine which ones align best with your personal playstyle.
5 Operation Serpentine
Normal/Hard/Extreme

Operation Serpentine stands out as a tactical operations map rather than a traditional PvP ground. Here, you’re engaged in battles against NPCs, and you have the flexibility to team up with players or tackle challenges solo. One of the most appealing aspects of this mode is the full return of any supplies you utilize during the match upon its completion.
If you’re deploying a gear ticket, however, those resources will be consumed during gameplay. This factor motivated me to construct a fully-equipped Scar-H worth over $500K, complete with various modifications and gold ammunition stored away for use.
I highly recommend trying out Operation Serpentine. It provides a great opportunity to acclimate to the game mechanics and weapon handling. You won’t suffer losses, and should you falter on your initial attempt, there’s always a chance to retry.
This map features multiple difficulty levels, and after completing a phase, players can access supply depots placed strategically throughout the area. The game mode mimics a campaign experience, culminating in a showdown with the main boss after passing through various stages.
Don’t forget to head over to the firing range to practice with new weapons and test them with attachments at no cost.
4 Brakkesh
Normal

Brakkesh is arguably one of the most intense maps within Delta Force. During gameplay, you’ll frequently find yourself defending or contesting chokepoints due to the map’s myriad of buildings and rooms.
Unlike many other maps that offer some space for strategic retreat, Brakkesh intensifies the pressure. Opponents equipped with Hackclaw scanners or Lunas for reconnaissance can swiftly reveal your team’s position.
This map instills quite a bit of anxiety, as the threat of an enemy sniper lurking behind a window could result in a life-ending shot at any moment.
Loot opportunities here are impressive, but be wary of encountering “juicers.” It appears that most players on Brakkesh and Space City sport Gold gear and ammunition.
3 Space City
Normal

Space City is predominantly a battleground for some of the elite players in the game. I often see members of DF Pinnacles and Black Hawks dominating matches here. However, it is notorious for having the lowest extraction rate in my experience.
Attempting extractions solo can be particularly daunting without a backpack due to the challenging extraction points. Loot tends to cluster in the central district, making it easy to become disoriented or miss extraction opportunities if you’re not familiar with the layout.
Fortunately, success is achievable for skilled players who demonstrate unity in gunplay and coordination with their squad. While not everyone will emerge from this map unscathed, the thrill of high-risk, high-reward gameplay makes Space City a compelling option.
Notably, sections of the map—including Layali Grove, Brakkesh, and Space City—feature areas that remain undisclosed on the mini-map, necessitating that players rely on their innate sense of direction to navigate.
2 Zero Dam
Easy/Normal

Zero Dam serves as an excellent confidence booster for players. There’s nothing quite like entering this map armed with Gold or Red gear and confidently taking down less experienced opponents. Despite the competitive environment, it remains a well-suited entry point for novice players.
With the addition of a recent underground expansion, new play areas have been introduced. If engaging in hotspots presents too much risk, you have the option to infiltrate the underground zone to gather loot before executing an extraction.
Speed is crucial, however; being the last player standing often leads to confrontation as others scour the map for valuable Gold and Red items. If you encounter them before you’ve completed your own looting, you may find yourself outmatched.
1 Layali Grove
Easy/Normal

Layali Grove differentiates itself with its expansive landscape, providing ample opportunities for players to hide, loot, and safely reach extraction points. While it’s true that snipers thrive here due to the vastness of the map, the terrain adds a counterbalancing element by making it difficult for shooters to spot players easily.
Utilizing natural cover effectively allows players to remain hidden, and if you’re shot, teammates can revive you behind rocky outcrops or cliffs.
The spawn points are relatively dispersed, enabling choices for early extractions after collecting from just one location. This pacing affords players time to react since opponents won’t congregate as rapidly at the start of matches as they do on other maps.
Engaging in PvP encounters typically revolves around safe-bag locations, or you can circumnavigate the perimeters for strategic looting and getaway opportunities.
