“Ralo Criticizes Boosie BadAzz for Meeting Yo Gotti Before Dolph’s Family Has Time to Grieve”
In a recent incident that has sparked conversations within the hip-hop community, rapper Ralo criticized Boosie BadAzz for his decision to collaborate with Yo Gotti, calling it insensitive.
On October 1, 2024, Ralo took to X to share a video clip of Boosie BadAzz expressing gratitude to Yo Gotti for supporting his mother during Boosie’s time in jail.
In his tweet, Ralo implied that Boosie should have postponed any collaboration with Yo Gotti out of respect for Young Dolph’s family, who are still mourning his devastating death.
According to reports from Hot New Hip Hop, Yo Gotti’s family has reportedly been connected to Young Dolph’s assassination, which exacerbates the sensitivity surrounding this collaboration —
“Boosie should’ve at least let Dolph’s family grieve from the trial,”Ralo tweeted.
Ralo and Boosie BadAzz have a history of conflict, particularly since June 2023. The two have exchanged insults online, escalating the tensions between them.

On Tuesday, Ralo expressed his discontent on X regarding Boosie’s partnership with Yo Gotti. In his tweet, he shared his strong disapproval of the collaboration —
“before he did this lame as sh*t… and idc what nobody say‼️,”Ralo added.
The video features Boosie BadAzz dressed in a pink jacket with grey pants, while Yo Gotti is seen in all-black attire, adorned with heavy jewelry. The two can be seen greeting each other with a hug.
Additionally, Boosie captioned his post reminiscing about the early 2000s when he was incarcerated after East Baton Rouge sheriff’s deputies discovered marijuana and a Glock in his vehicle in October 2008. He mentioned that Yo Gotti looked after his mother during that difficult time —
“CONGRATULATIONS 🔥‼️ I SEEN YO COME UP ⬆️ @yogotti ME N DIS N***A GO WAY BACK EARLY 2000’s n he looked out for MOMS WHEN I WAS GONE,”Boosie wrote.
This isn’t the first instance of Ralo and Boosie BadAzz being embroiled in an online dispute. Most recently, on September 3, 2024, during an Instagram live session, Ralo criticized Boosie, indicating that he didn’t want to still be performing or pursuing a rap career at an older age, akin to Boosie’s current path —
“I ain’t tryna be on stage like Boosie rapping when he 40, 50 years old,”Ralo stated.
In response, Boosie addressed Ralo on his X account, stating in a since-deleted tweet that he was content with making $150k every weekend, emphasizing that Ralo lacks a career and is unlikely to have one in the hip-hop scene —
“I HAVE NOT SPOKE ON YOU IN YEARS @ralofamgoon. U STILL HURT BY WHAT U DID, lol. I’M GRATEFUL THAT I’M STILL MAKING 150k A WEEKEND N SELLING OUT SHOWS. U DON’T HAVE A RAP CAREER N WILL NEVER HAVE ONE,”Boosie tweeted.
Ralo subsequently referred to Boosie as an “auntie.”Their feud traces back to June 2023 when Boosie BadAzz labeled Ralo a “snitch”during an appearance on The Breakfast Club radio podcast.
Ralo retaliated by branding Boosie a “gossiping grandma”and a “drunk auntie,”further deepening their rivalry.
As of now, Boosie has not responded to Ralo’s criticisms regarding the collaboration with Yo Gotti.
Ralo’s apprehension about the collaboration originates from the tragic assassination of Young Dolph, who was shot and killed on November 17, 2021. According to The Economic Times, Young Dolph was attending a family member’s funeral in Memphis when he was fatally shot inside Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies on Airways Boulevard in Memphis.
Reports indicate that a $100,000 bounty was allegedly placed on a man named Justin Johnson by Big Jook, Yo Gotti’s brother. Prosecutors, including Paul Hagerman, have referenced CCTV footage, call records, and other evidence indicating Johnson as the suspected shooter. The investigation is still ongoing.
