Ubisoft has officially launched Rainbow Six Siege Year 10 Season 1, heralding the arrival of the new operator Rauora alongside an innovative reputation system. Since its inception, Rainbow Six Siege has consistently implemented updates to captivate both new recruits and seasoned veterans alike.
The current season, titled Operation Collision Point, debuted in December 2024, featuring a comprehensive revision of the well-known operator Blackbeard, elevating his skill set significantly. This season also introduced cross-play functionality between console and PC platforms, providing players with an improved gaming experience through various enhancements and safeguards. Now, Ubisoft is gearing up for the upcoming advancements.
New Features in Rainbow Six Siege Year 10 Season 1
- The introduction of Rauora as the latest attack operator.
- A comprehensive reputation system aimed at enhancing player interactions.
- Implementation of Dynamic Matchmaking 1.0 for optimized match quality.
- New strategies designed to combat cheating and gaming exploits.
The highlight of this update is undoubtedly the unveiling of Rauora, a new attack operator who will initially be available through the battle pass. Later, she can be acquired using Renown or R6 Credits. Notably, Rauora is the first character to wield the Reaper MK2 pistol as her secondary weapon. Her specialized gadget, the Deployable Omnilink Mesh (D. O.M.), allows her to launch bulletproof barriers that can be placed in doorways, effectively disrupting the line of sight and hindering the movement of opposing players.
The reputation system, specifically designed to influence player engagement, rewards those with a Respectable rating or higher from Year 9 Season 4 with an Alpha Pack. Conversely, players who have been deemed Disruptive or Dishonorable will face restrictions that limit their access to playlists and certain rewards. Additionally, the introduction of dynamic matchmaking 1.0 is set to enhance the matching process, ensuring optimal performance during peak gaming hours.

As players anticipate further revelations about the season ahead, excitement is building for an upcoming showcase scheduled in March. During this event, developers are expected to introduce the anticipated Rainbow Six Siege X game, which promises enhanced graphics and a host of new events and features yet to be disclosed.
