Released in 2023, Bottoms narrates the story of two socially awkward best friends, PJ and Josie, who establish a fight club at their high school to attract girls and navigate their awkward teenage years. However, the plot escalates when the popular students start to engage in physical confrontations under the guise of self-defense. Alongside Sennott and Edebiri, the film features a talented ensemble cast, including Ruby Cruz, Havana Rose Liu, Nicholas Galitzine, and Marshawn Lynch, and has garnered positive critical acclaim, boasting a 91% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Although she kept specific details about her new series under wraps, Sennott hinted at ongoing discussions with Edebiri regarding future artistic endeavors, highlighting their desire to continue their creative partnership. Here’s what she had to say:
I know! I know. Hey, look, there’s a lot. We’re working on a lot. Unfortunately, writing takes forever. Writing is the slowest thing of everything, and no one knows when you’re doing it. I’m like, “I swear to God, I’m writing. I promise!”
I’m in the writers’ room right now working on my show. But it takes so long, and you have to think so much. So, we need to find 100% our next thing. I just want to keep working with my friends.
