“Quit crying, dummy!” – LA Knight shoots on AJ Styles ahead of WrestleMania XL clash

WWE superstar LA Knight has been scheduled to compete against former World Champion AJ Styles at this year’s WrestleMania.

Styles and Knight’s relationship became strained when Styles accused Knight of replacing him in the ongoing feud with The Bloodline. In order to prevent Knight from advancing in the ranks, The Phenomenal One attacked him with a steel chair at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. Since then, The Megastar has been determined to confront Styles and resolve their conflict once and for all.

This week on SmackDown LowDown, WWE correspondent Byron Saxton interviewed Knight. The Megastar asserted that Styles was envious of the progress he has made in the past six months. He pointed out that The Phenomenal One could never match his exceptional in-ring displays as of late.

“You look at that name. AJ right? What’s that stand for? Because as far as I can say, that stands for always jealous. Every time that you think about me, every time you talk about me, all you worry about is, ‘Oh well, he took the spotlight from me.’ Quit crying, dummy! Here’s the thing, my guy, you can’t hold what I’ve been doing this whole time. You can’t lace these boots, my guy.”[From 4:00 – 4:30]

LA Knight launches surprise attack on AJ Styles during SmackDown

AJ Styles consulted with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis to confirm that LA Knight would not be appearing on the show this week. Aldis assured AJ that he had already requested Knight to stay away.

Styles proceeded to enter the ring to deliver a promo, during which he verbally attacked his opponent and labeled him as an untalented and worthless individual. However, his speech was abruptly interrupted as The Megastar, disguised as a member of the security team, launched a surprise attack on Styles. LA Knight delivered some forceful strikes, causing Styles to flee through the surrounding crowd.

It will be intriguing to witness which competitor ultimately rises to the top when these fierce adversaries come face to face at The Grandest Stage of Them All.
