Exciting New Crossovers Coming to Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis
Sega has unveiled thrilling crossover content for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis during the March 2025 NGS Headline Wave. Fans can look forward to new features inspired by That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and popular Nijisanji Vtubers, significantly expanding the game’s universe.
Nijisanji Crossover Launch Date and Content
The introduction of Nijisanji crossover content will kick off on April 15, 2025. This marks the third collaboration between Sega and Anycolor’s iconic Vtuber group, following two previous installments released in February 2023 and February 2024. This new wave will prominently feature beloved characters such as Ars Almal, Debidebi Debiru, Nui Sociere, and Rindou Mikoto.
Accessing the New Content
Similar to earlier waves, the latest Nijisanji crossover content will primarily be accessible through the AC Scratch Ticket titled “Virtual Liver Style ’25.” This lineup will include a variety of items such as avatar customization options and engaging background decorations. Additionally, players can collect themed Dakimakura weapon camos inspired by the featured Vtubers. Daily login bonuses will also provide players with exclusive autograph stickers and collectible posters to enhance their gaming experience.
Upcoming Collaboration with That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
As the program progressed, Sega also announced a new collaboration featuring That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, set to launch in May 2025. This collaboration will fulfill the second slot for anime-based content in the April-May 2025 schedule, joining A Certain Magical Index III.
