Xiaomi 12 Ultra prototype with three rear cameras and Leica logo

Exposition of Xiaomi Ultra Prototype 12

According to a report from lthome, a recently suspected Xiaomi 12 Ultra prototype posted a real photo of the machine on social media that looks very similar to the previous render.

As shown in the picture, Xiaomi 12 Ultra is a large rear camera layout, based on square, round coverage, support for 120x zoom, and various camera and LIDAR sensors, and dual-color temperature flash, the most obvious is that on one side has the Leica logo.

Of course, the above is only an engineering machine, the specific mass production may have changes, it can be seen from the above that there is a two-lens layout, but according to long-standing rumors, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra rear camera module is very recognizable.

It was previously revealed that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra uses a 6.73-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 3200 x 1440, supporting LTPO 2.0 adaptive tuning and a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz.

The base configuration is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 Plus processor, manufactured on TSMC’s 4nm process and is said to be slightly more powerful than the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 with improved power consumption and heat dissipation.

The camera capabilities are the main focus of the machine, sources say the rear is for a 50MP main camera (IMX9xx?) and a 48MP ultra-wide and 48MP periscope telephoto lens, while the front has also been upgraded to a 48MP selfie lens.

In addition, the machine is expected to be equipped with Xiaomi’s own ISP Surge C2 research chip, an ISP processor to improve imaging capabilities. They say that the car will be released in June or July.
