However, YG emphasized that the sick leave and annual leaves mentioned in the report were taken in compliance with protocols, clarifying that these absences were merely an extension of ongoing treatment Mino was receiving prior to his service.

This reaction intensified on January 5, when a community forum dubbed “Winner’s Korean Fans’ Truck Protest Regarding Song Mino”gained traction. Protesters took to the streets, demanding that WINNER be recognized as a three-member group, excluding Mino from group activities. This movement is evidenced by a protest truck with bold statements aimed at YG Entertainment.

Demands for Transparency and Accountability

The protest truck not only voiced dissatisfaction with Mino’s situation, but also criticized YG Entertainment for its perceived lack of responsiveness.
