Fischl’s Mirage is the Immernachtreich Apocalypse, divided into three parts. In the second part, you can get two chests and a contract for the night watch.

How to unlock Immernachtreich Apocalypse Part 2

To unlock part 2 of the Immernachtreich Apokalypse Mirage, all you have to do is complete the first part. At the end of part 1 you will find the second volume of the Hymn of the Holy Land. Opening it will take you to the second segment of the Mirage.

Before you get started, look at the image above for two common terms used in this guide. Seeing the Depths is a core puzzle mechanic in Mirage. Meanwhile, the elevator can be used to go up and down the floors. If you left the elevator at the top or bottom, step on the small platform on the side to call it.

You need to adjust the camera angles to solve the Gaze of the Deep puzzles. The direction angles need some approximation, but the camera zoom can be calculated by adjusting the zoom bar on the left. So, if our instruction is to “set the camera zoom to +4 from minimum”, what we mean is to set the zoom to minimum and then click the plus sign four times.

Chest #1 (Quest Item – Contract for the Night’s Watch) and Ghost Shell

• Once inside Mirage, turn right, go down the stairs and turn right again to find Depthsight.
• Use “Deep Look” or refer to the image above for an approximate scale and angle, or follow the instructions below to solve the puzzle to connect the stairs.
  • Move the camera to the right.

• Once this is done turn back and you will come across a crossroads.
• Climb the stairs on the right and keep going forward until you reach the Door of Resurrection.
• Turn right and go straight. Some Hilichurls will block your path, so defeat them.
• After defeating the Hilichurls, you will enter a clearing with a few more Hilichurls – defeat this party again.

• Interact with the Ghost Shell on the table circled on the left in the image above.
• To the right (circled above) you will find an obscure opening with a ladder leading down. Carefully go down the stairs to find a precious chest that contains a quest item called Night Watch Contract.
• After picking up the Precious Chest, go up the stairs again.

Be very careful going down the stairs as the Precious Chest is on a narrow ledge. You can slide, but don’t jerk or you’ll fall!

Chest #2

• Now that you’re back in the clearing, head down the stairs. You will find Depth-Sight and gear.
• Ignore the mechanism, but you need to solve the Deep Look puzzle.

• Use Depth Sight and refer to the image above for an approximate scale and angle used, or follow the steps below to solve the puzzle to connect the stairs.
  • Move the camera to the right.
• Once that’s done, go straight ahead, then turn left to go up the stairs.
• Just keep going up the stairs until you get to the top. Some Hilichurls will intercept – just defeat them!

At the top of the stairs, you will find a ladder.

• Climb up the stairs, then look to the right.
• You will find a Common Chest on the tower next to you. Slide up to the tower to get a Shared Chest.
• After taking the chest, return to the left tower and go up the stairs again.

Chest #3 (Quest Item – Night Watch Contract)

• From the top of the stairs, you need to climb several stairs, but they all follow the same path. Some Hilichurls will interfere again, so defeat them.
• At the end of the last ladder you will find a clearing with a mechanism.
• Interact with the mechanism twice until the tower at the back splits the background horizontally (see image above).
• Once that’s done, turn right and go down the stairs. You will encounter Depth Gaze.

• Use Depth Sight. Refer to the image above for the approximate scaling and angle used to connect the path, or follow the steps below.
  • Set the camera zoom to +1 from the default value.
  • Move the camera up slightly.

• Once that’s done, ignore the stairs on the left and go straight ahead instead until you see a ladder.
• Climb the stairs, then continue down the path until you reach a clearing with a wind current and a Resurrection Door. Again, some Hilichurls will attack you, so defeat them.

• Interact with the mechanism once so that the horizontal part of the tower in the background is visible again.
• After that, go up the stairs to find Depth Gaze.

• Use Depth Sight. Refer to the image above for the approximate scaling and angle used to connect the path, or follow the steps below.
  • Set the maximum camera zoom.
  • Move the camera up.
  • Move the camera to the left.

• Go down the stairs and interact with the mechanism once to turn the turret behind it.
• After that, use the nearest wind current to push you up. On the horizontal tower you will find Depthsight.

• Use Depth Sight. Refer to the image above for the approximate scaling and angle used to connect the path, or follow the steps below.
  • Set the camera zoom to -3 from the default zoom.
  • Move the camera to the right.

• Use the wind current to push you up.
• Turn left and slide down to the ladder shown in the image above.

As you climb the stairs, Raven Leon will call for help.

• To continue the quest, you need to enter the castle. But before that, turn right – there is a chest there!
• Keep going forward and get rid of the Hilichurls and the Void Mage along the way.
• Turn right to go up the stairs.
• Follow the path until you reach the Precious Chest. Unfortunately, it doesn’t contain any primoges, but instead contains a quest item called “Night Watch Contract”.

This is the last chest in Mirage, but you need to solve more puzzles to complete it. Follow the instructions below to complete the rest of the puzzles.

• Once you’ve looted the chest, go back and enter the palace.
• Inside the palace, there is a glowing investigation point that you need to approach to start a dialogue with Leon, who is once again in a dangerous situation.

• You need to slide to the narrow area that contains the Views of the Depths. Be careful and try not to fall, otherwise you will respawn at the nearest Resurrection Door and have to run back to the palace.

There are three Depth Gazes. They can be tackled in any order, but they are numbered in the image above so you can indicate which to interact with first by following the exact steps in this guide.

• Use the first Depth Sight. Refer to the image above for the approximate scaling and angle used to connect the path, or follow the steps below.
  • Set the camera zoom to -7 from maximum.
  • Move the camera to the right.

• Use the second Depth Sight. Refer to the image above for the approximate scaling and angle used to connect the path, or follow the steps below.
  • Set the maximum camera zoom.
  • Move the camera up.
  • Move the camera to the left.

• Use the third Depth Gaze. Refer to the image above for the approximate scaling and angle used to connect the path, or follow the steps below.
  • Set the maximum camera zoom.
  • Move the camera up.
  • Move the camera to the left.
• Once all three are done, use the nearby ladder to return.
• Approach the glowing research site at the entrance to the castle to start a dialogue.

• Go to the barrier on the other side of the room. You will need to go around the sides to get there.
• Interact with the barrier to open a path and run forward.
• Interact with the book to continue the story.
• You will find yourself in a corridor where the voices of Fishl’s parents will sound. You don’t need to do anything here – just wait for the voices to finish speaking.

After the corridor segment, you will be downloaded from the mirage to the sister island.

• Head to the teleport waypoint north of Twin Island.
• Turn left from the waypoint and follow the semi-circular path.
• You will find an elevator that you need to take to get to the top of the castle.

• After exiting the elevator, turn right to find a cave.
• The cave will lead to a staircase that will take you inside the castle. Once inside, just keep going up until a dialog box pops up.

This marks the end of the second part. You will be in front of the third volume of the Hymn of the Holy Land, which you can interact with to start the third part of the Mirage.
