Princess Peach: Showtime! – How to Solve Detective Peach’s Third Case

Despite being geared towards younger audiences, Princess Peach: Showtime! offers the Mushroom Kingdom monarch an opportunity to break free from the traditional damsel role and become a hero in her own right. And for those with lingering inquiries about the game, fear not, as we are here to provide answers.

Although the majority of Princess Peach: Showtime! is straightforward, there are some stages that take on the form of classic adventure game mysteries, known as the Detective Peach stages. These sections may prove challenging for younger players, and their parents may even be called in for help when they become confused. To assist with this, we have provided a guide on how to navigate through the second Detective Peach stage, titled “The Dark Museum & The Purple Mystery”.

Initially, you must confront the man wearing the top-hat to gain access through this doorway, as he is actually a member of the Sour Bunch Gang. In fact, all of the non-playable characters in this vicinity belong to the Sour Bunch Gang, although it is not necessary to identify each one in order to progress.

To successfully open the door in front of you, you must correctly identify four museum artifacts in a specific order. This order can be determined by the number of dots located underneath each artifact. The first artifact is called the “Ancient Sparkle Relief”and you can use the “Strike of Intuition”(by pressing B while in front of an item and then holding B again) to confirm it as a key point of interest. However, be careful with your choices as pointing fingers recklessly will result in losing life.

First, identify the Pink Crystal.

After that, proceed to the room on the far right in this section and engage with the Easter-Island-style heads until all of them are facing the same direction and their noses illuminate. This will unveil another head. Engage with it.

Next, head back to the central room and interact with the vase. This will unlock the door and allow you to proceed.

To locate Detective Sparkla in the next area, you’ll need to look for the third person from the left.

Upon entering the room, you will notice numerous items and no visible exit. Proceed through the door on the left, which leads to a nearly identical room. Curiously, interacting with the room will reveal the path forward.

One final obstacle stands in your way – you will encounter your friend, the Junior Detective… or is he? Detective Sparkla will question him, and it becomes evident that something is amiss. If you accuse him, you will uncover his true identity as a member of the Sour Bunch Gang, and the last path to progress will be revealed.

And that’s all there is to it! The last Detective Peach case, completed!
