It is hoped that this launch will surpass the previous roll-out of the discrete RTX 50 GPUs, which suffered from significant stock shortages. Similar to the desktop counterparts in the RTX 50 lineup, the laptop variations will feature a range of models, including the RTX 5090, RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070. Preliminary sightings of these GPUs have already appeared on upcoming gaming laptops from notable brands like ASUS and MSI, indicating a growing anticipation as pre-orders approach.

As we await the pre-order date, official pricing details from the OEMs are expected to be announced shortly. Early reports from retailers, including Best Buy and ASUS’s website, suggest that flagship models featuring the RTX 5090 may carry price tags starting at $4, 000 or more, varying based on specifications and setups.
These advanced GPUs can be paired with either Intel Core Ultra 200HX processors or AMD’s Strix Point APUs, depending on the laptop manufacturer. Both tech giants are gearing up to launch premium mobile chips designed specifically for high-performance gaming laptops, leading to a robust selection when these devices finally reach retail outlets.
