Actual shipping and sales are expected to commence on January 13, marking a two-week countdown from the pre-order launch. This batch will include only Non-K models, along with F variants, which are specifically designed for cost-effective computing. Anticipation builds for their official unveiling at CES 2025, where Intel will showcase more details from January 6 to 10.

In conjunction with these CPUs, expect the release of new 800-series motherboards, including models B860 and H810, which have recently been observed. The Core Ultra 200 series targets budget-conscious users who do not require overclocking capabilities. Notably, the F variants lack integrated graphics, making them an even more economical option, while the “T”variants are optimized for energy efficiency in compact systems.

Pre-orders will kick off at 10:00 PM local time in China. According to a recent announcement on Weibo, Intel touted the advancements in architecture and power efficiency:

New architecture, better power consumption, enjoy the experience! Creative inspiration without boundaries! Game experience without competition!

In terms of performance, these CPUs will likely operate at lower clock speeds compared to their K counterparts and are designed without overclocking capabilities. This lower performance tier positions the Core Ultra 200 series alongside Intel’s budget-friendly 800-series motherboards, a strategic move aimed at appealing to cost-conscious consumers. Further specifications, features, and pricing details will be unveiled at the CES event, although earlier leaks may provide insights prior to the official release.
