Prajanchai reckons Jonathan Di Bella’s flaws outweigh his technical brilliance: “He has many weaknesses”
Despite having a great deal of respect for his upcoming opponent, Prajanchai does not believe that he is a flawless fighter.
At Friday Fights 58, he will face off against another world champion, Jonathan Di Bella.
During a recent interview, the challenger shared his thoughts on his opponent as the strawweight Muay Thai champion aims to claim Di Bella’s kickboxing crown at Lumpinee Stadium.
During his conversation with ONE Championship, he expressed caution towards both Di Bella’s strengths and, while keeping his strategy under wraps, also acknowledged his vulnerabilities.
“Jonathan Di Bella’s strengths are quick footwork plus his fast and accurate punches. He also has dangerous knee strikes. But on the other hand, he has many weaknesses – but let’s find out in the ring.”
Prajanchai Respects Jonathan Di Bella’s Fighting Skills
Prajanchai, an experienced competitor, is well aware of the importance of not underestimating any opponent.
This was evident in his journey to reclaim the strawweight Muay Thai championship, following a surprising loss to Joseph Lasiri. He was granted a rematch in December of last year, during which he proved himself with a strong performance.
As he enters the world of kickboxing, the Muay Thai champion will approach his next challenge with a focused mindset. He intends to show his opponent the appropriate level of respect.
Despite facing a formidable opponent, you can count on him to aggressively attack with a series of strikes. When two world champions face off in the ring, you can anticipate a top-notch competition between two of the finest athletes in the world.
The 58th edition of ONE Friday Fights will be broadcasted live on April 5 during Asian primetime through global PPV at watch.onefc.com.
