Post-rework Inaros guide: Three Warframe builds to try out

Post-rework Inaros guide: Three Warframe builds to try out

After undergoing a rework in Dante Unbound (Update 35.5), Inaros has significantly improved from his previous D-tier status as a Warframe. The new and improved Inaros boasts built-in status negation, a useful ability for grouping up with Melee attacks, a horde of sand-kitties, and a dependable area lockdown that affects nearby enemies.

This build guide offers three different setups for returning players who want to give the Cursed Pharaoh another chance and take advantage of the revamped Inaros. It includes three distinct mod builds, as well as suggestions for Archon Shard combinations and Helminth options.

Our Inaros rework guide provides details on the changes to his abilities, but the main idea is that Inaros has become a formidable crowd-control frame for stationary missions such as Interception. As a result, the key stat for Inaros is the Ability Range, which allows his Scarab Swarm to cover a larger area.

Previously, Inaros’ main advantage was his high Health capacity, and it was common to equip as many Health and Armor mods as possible to maximize his survivability. The recent rework has further enhanced Inaros’ potential, making his abilities even more effective, but the frame remains versatile and adaptable.

Please consider this Inaros build guide as a starting point for creating your own build. Additionally, we have provided three different builds for you to experiment with. While the Archon Shards and Arcanes will remain the same for all three builds, the mod configurations, Forma polarities, and Helminth abilities will differ.

Archon Fragments:

  • By utilizing a pair of Emerald Archon Shards, the maximum stacks of Corrosion can be increased by +2. This gradual increase enables the Scarab Swarm to effectively strip the armor of enemies over time.
  • It is recommended to fill the remaining three Archon Shard slots with Azure Archon Shards (+50 Energy Max), but ultimately the choice is yours.

Arcanes are a mysterious and elusive force.

  • Arcane Grace (Even a Rank 0 Arcane Grace is useful)
  • Arcane Avenger

  • Umbral Vitality
  • Umbral Fiber (Umbral Forma)

In order to maximize the melee potential of post-rework Inaros, this 6-Forma build has been designed. While it may require a significant investment of Forma, there is a more affordable variation of this build that can be achieved by:

  • Replacing Umbral Fiber with Steel Fiber allows you to use one less Umbral Forma.
  • By opting for Cunning Drift over Primed Sure Footed, you may encounter some inconvenience, but the innate knockdown negation provided by Scarab Armor can still be relied upon.

Mods utilized:

  • Aura Mod: Steel Charge (Forma)
  • Exilus Mod: Primed Sure Footed (Forma)
  • Umbral Vitality (Umbral Forma)
  • Umbral Fiber (Umbral Forma)
  • Umbral Intensify
  • Adaptation
  • Hunter Adrenaline
  • Blind Rage (Forma)
  • Narrow Minded

Helminth: Wrathful Advance (Replaces Desiccation or Scarab Armor): The cornerstone of this build, Wrathful Advance greatly enhances your chances of landing tier-2 red crits by providing a significant boost to Critical Chance through high Ability Strength.

Ultimate Tank Inaros Warframe Build (3-Forma)

This 3-Forma build focuses on maximizing Inaros’ tankiness, reminiscent of the old days. A new addition to this build is the use of Eclipse, which received a rework in the Dante Unbound update, further enhancing Inaros’ durability.

While it is true that a strictly health-focused Inaros may not be able to withstand level cap endurance runs on Steel Path, this build easily handles anything up to four-digit levels.

Mods utilized:

  • Aura Mod: Aerodynamic (Forma)
  • Exilus Mod: Aero Vantage
  • Umbral Vitality
  • Umbral Fiber (Umbral Forma)
  • Rank 9 Umbral Intensify (Can be replaced with Stretch or Primed Continuity for more lockdown or easier maintenance)
  • Adaptation
  • Hunter Adrenaline
  • Meat Carapace (Form)
  • Negation Armor
  • Gladiator Resolve

The Helminth ability Eclipse can be used in place of Desiccation, providing a flat 75% damage reduction that can stack with Armor and the Adaptation mod’s damage mitigation.

This week’s Warframe Dante build, tier lists for all Warframes, Incarnon weapons, Kuva weapons, and Tenet weapons, as well as the latest Baro Ki’teer Inventory and Warframe Promo Codes, are all featured. Additionally, the best weapons for each Mastery Rank in Warframe are included.
