This popularity led to a remaster known as ARK: Survival Ascended, which debuted in early access in 2023, featuring a significant visual upgrade. Beyond the main series, the franchise has generated several spin-offs, with Grove Street Games developing the latest addition, ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition for iOS and Android.
On January 10, 2025, Snail Games, the publisher for ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition, announced that the mobile title had surpassed three million downloads shortly after its debut. This milestone eclipsed the launch performance of the mobile version of ARK: Survival Evolved, showcasing a remarkable 100% increase in player downloads. The publisher further revealed that Grove Street Games is in the process of expanding the game with new content, including the development of additional maps such as Ragnarok, Extinction, Genesis Part 1, and Genesis Part 2.
